Farnham Royal

Farnham Royal was three and a half miles north of Eton, in Buckinghamshire. The parish included the hamlets of Farnham Common, Hedgerley Dean, Salt Hill and Seer Green. The soil is gravel and loam. Nearly one third was permanent grass, approximately one quarter arable and a small amount woodland.
